Login to view price.Terroir Project is a new project of single-vineyard wines showcasing unique terroirs from around New Zealand and Australia. The wines are incredible translations of vineyard site and soil. Terroir Project wines are from certified organic vineyards and are made with minimal intervention - they are clean, well made, and true to region, variety, style and type.
This Dry Riesling is sourced from Southern Valleys, Marlborough, where the 13 year old Riesling vines are grown atop loam over sandstone and deep clay soils. The fruit is machine harvested, pressed, cold-settled, then cool fermented in stainless steel tank, then aged on fine yeast lees for 12 months before kegging and bottling.
The wine is aromatic, with white peach, grapefruit and lime aromas, followed by a tight acid line with mineral notes suggesting stone and clay. Well-made, lengthy and delicious.
